Larry G. McAfee Obituary
Larry G. McAfee, 79, of Byesville, passed away Thursday (January 27, 2022) at SEORMC.
He was born December 8, 1942 in Guernsey County, son of the late Carl P. and Dorothy (Hopkins) McAfee.
Mr. McAfee was a truck driver, and former police officer at Cambridge and Caldwell. He was an Army veteran. He formerly attended the Free Methodist Church in Cambridge. He enjoyed fishing, walking and talking to everyone.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph, Kenny, Gary, Richard, Charlotte and Dale; grandson Zachary Jakubisin.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon Ann (Cale) McAfee whom he married April 16, 1984; three sons, Larry (Charley) McAfee of WV, Mike McAfee of Cambridge and Chris McAfee of Mansfield; two daughters, Lynn Jakubisin of Cambridge and Jennifer (Eddie) Rominger of Byesville; three grandchildren, Kayla and Joseph Jakubisin and Curtis Bailey, and; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
No visitation or services will be observed.
