Patty Lou Glover Obituary

Patty Lou Glover, 80, of Friendsville, MD, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Born June 1, 1941, in Sang Run, MD, she was the daughter of the late Claude H. and Mildred (Rodeheaver) Cuppett. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffery and one daughter Tina Margroff.

Ms. Glover was the County Treasurer for the Garrett County Government, having been elected in 1986 and retiring in 2004 after 30+ years of service. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, where she was treasurer for many years and a member of the Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad.

She is survived by one son, Todd M. (Brenda) Glover, one daughter Kimberly A. (Gregory Dawson) Stoner, one sister, Sharon (Larry) Schlosnagle, all of Friendsville; three grandchildren, Brandi (Kenneth W.) Stoner Hawk, Travis M. (Jennifer) Glover and Tiffany (J.D.) Hebb; six grandchildren, Kobey Hawk, Bayleigh Hawk, Jacob Glover, Madison Glover, Olivia Glover and Rylie Hebb.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., McHenry (Accident), MD, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Rush. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
