Lamont Robertson Currie Obituary

Monty struggled with Alzheimer's for several years and is out of his suffering and in the arms of The Lord. Monty came to Canada from Edinburgh, Scotland in 1957. After having served a short time in the British army, he joined the Canadian army and served for many years. He had several businesses, worked for CN Rail and other jobs through his life. Monty threw himself into anything he tackled without complaint. He loved his motorcycles and taught me to ride and we did many trips together on our bikes.
He will be greatly missed by me, his wife, Linda, of 30 years his step children; Jennifer and Christopher, grandson Tyler and nephews; David and Christopher. He loved his church, New Life Pentecostal Assembly, and many thanks to Pastor Paul McGowan. Thank you to SJGH, ICU Dept, Dr. DeBortoli and Jacob for looking after him in his final hours.

I will miss my husband and good friend, life was an adventure with you Monty!

There will be no service per his request.
