<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Lewis Theodore &ldquo;Ted&rdquo; Cummings, age 79, of&nbsp;&nbsp;Morehead, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Born March 3, 1942, in Lakewood, Ohio, he was the son of the late Richard Theodore Cummings and Frances Cecelia Lyons Cummings.&nbsp; Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Cummings and Thomas Cummings.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Ted is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen Brown Cummings, whom he married December 20, 1980, one son, Scott Cummings of North Carolina; two daughters, Terry Pincura (Tom) of Amherst, Ohio, and Kerry Cummings of Dayton, Ohio; one step son, Jeremy Egleston (Julie) of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Tosha Binion (Zach), Trad Egleston, Autumn Egleston, Ariah Egleston, Cody Pincura, Trevor Harrigan, and Ranata Fanara; and two great grandsons, Hunter and Tommy Binion; mother-in-law, Kathleen &nbsp;Brown of Morehead; and extended family and friends</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former fiberglass boat repairman, mechanic, floor manager for Don McKenzie Ford, and a retired machinist for Wholesale Auto Parts in Morehead. Lewis Theodore “Ted” Cummings, age 79, of  Morehead, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

 

Born March 3, 1942, in Lakewood, Ohio, he was the son of the late Richard Theodore Cummings and Frances Cecelia Lyons Cummings.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Cummings and Thomas Cummings.

 

Ted is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen Brown Cummings, whom he married December 20, 1980, one son, Scott Cummings of North Carolina; two daughters, Terry Pincura (Tom) of Amherst, Ohio, and Kerry Cummings of Dayton, Ohio; one step son, Jeremy Egleston (Julie) of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Tosha Binion (Zach), Trad Egleston, Autumn Egleston, Ariah Egleston, Cody Pincura, Trevor Harrigan, and Ranata Fanara; and two great grandsons, Hunter and Tommy Binion; mother-in-law, Kathleen  Brown of Morehead; and extended family and friends
