Angel Del Carmen Toro 84, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 25, 2022.  He was the son of Angel Toro and Carlina (Montero) Toro. Angel was born Cabo Rojo Puerto Rico June 26, 1937. Angel is survived by his lifetime companion Catalina Negron, his Sons Angel Toro Jr., son Luis A. Toro and his daughter Maria D. Raker.

He was always to be a hard-working man. He loved working on his cars, it was his pride and joy. He also enjoyed working on household projects to keep himself busy. He was a musician and played the guitar. His favorite music was Puerto Rican Folk music. Angel loved his place of birth Puerto Rico and its culture. His dream was to go back to Puerto Rico and buy some land in the country because he enjoyed the lifestyle. He was known to have chickens and roosters in his yard. That’s how much he loved country life. Puerto Rico is known to be called Paradise and now he rests in the true paradise in heaven with his heavenly father.

Funeral Service will be held at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 N. 9th Street. Reading PA Friday January 28, 2022 at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Friday January 28, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
