<p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Ruby R. Michael</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Age 87 of Camden, Ohio passed peacefully and was called home on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was born to the late Eli and Dorothy Mae Collins in Laurel County, Kentucky on December 27, 1934. Ruby was an avid sewer and quilter. She enjoyed canning beets and making peanut butter fudge. She grew her own garden with green beans and other delicious vegetables. Ruby was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Somerville, Ohio and the Northside Chapel in Camden, Ohio. Above all, Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family and other loved ones. Ruby was employed at Dayton Flexible as a maintenance and production woman for over 20 years. After Dayton Flexible closed, she got a job at Preble Shawnee High School as a custodian where she worked for 20 plus years and retired from in 2011.</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Raymond, of 33 years; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers.</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She is survived by her son; Sonny (Kathy) Hibbard, and daughters; Sandy (Jim) Mudd, Sherry Blizzard, and Evelyn (Ronnie) Allen, Grandchildren; Jessica, Jennifer, Kimberly, Leslee, Derek, Emma, Jacob, Heather and Rebecca, along with 9 great grandchildren and 7 brothers and sisters.</span></strong></em></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Visitation for Ruby will be held at Bales Funeral home on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, funeral to start at 1:00PM with Pastor Dave Oakley officiating. Burial at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northside Chapel First Church of God.</span></strong></em></p>December 27, 1934 - January 24, 202212/27/193401/24/2022
