<p>Novolla (Moore) McClendon departed this life on Jan.19, 2022. She was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Springfield OH, to Wynema and Ben Edwards. She&nbsp;was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hoover McClendon; daughters,Margaret (Ellie) Jasper and Wynema White; sons, William M Moore Jr. and Thomas Moore; grandson, Wade Jasper; sister, Benetta Edwards; brothers, Robert L Robinson, Benny Edwards, Harry Murph and Phillip Murph; &nbsp;sons-in-law, Johnny McCoy and Wesley Jasper; her children&rsquo;s father, William Mack Moore Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Maxine DeArmond Brydie, Benetta (Roland) Miller, Carol McMahon, Novolla Francette McCoy; sons, Bartimus Moore and Neal Richard (Sheryl) Moore; daughters-in-law, Lisa Moore, Denise Moore and Jeannette Moore,33 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren, 69 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Novolla worked in various areas of healthcare as:&nbsp; Nursing Assistant, LPN, RN, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.&nbsp; She retired from the VA Medical Center in Dayton OH. She was a long-time member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton OH.&nbsp; After returning to Springfield, she became a member of New Covenant Temple Church of God in Christ.&nbsp; She was a Senior on the Mother&rsquo;s Board.&nbsp; She was committed to her Love Call Ministry, where she called and encouraged people to put their trust in the Lord.&nbsp; She was a long-time volunteer on the Parkinson&rsquo;s Disease Board, a member of Sisters in Christ Choir, Music Workshop of America Dayton Chapter, St. Luke MBC, Church Women United, Greater Dayton Parish Nurse/Health Ministry, Women Fellowship Choir, Hoover Place Choir and Red Hat Club-Hoover Place Chapter. Novolla believed in continuing education and attended Clark State at age 93; and because she believed in continuing education, she donated her body to Wright State University.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name, to a charity of your choice. Her memorial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at 2pm on Facebook, on Willard DeArmond&rsquo;s page.</p>
