It is with great sadness that the family of Altagracia Contreras announce her passing at the age of 77 years old. Altagracia was born in Dominican Republic to parents, Martina and Juan. 

She was a loving and devoted wife of 49 years to husband Andres Contreras. Together they shared 4 children; Denise, John, Anthony and David. She had 4 other children with her late husband Javier; Jacqueline, Yris, Jose and one other child Lydia.

She adored her grandchildren, Jaileen, Justin, Desiree', Christian, Jayce, Havana, Antonio, Josiah, Khelsea, Soranllely, Angel, Stephanie, Chelsea, Andres, Erica, Jose, Genesis.

Altagracia is predeceased by her parents Martina and Juan and her sister Cruzitia.

Her love for her family, hilarious names for pets and grandchildren, funny personality, awesome cooking will be missed and lovingly remembered forever and always.

Altagracia Contreras passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Her visitation takes place on Monday, January 31st, from 10AM-12PM. Following visitation, interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
