Sumter, SC …. Marvis Eulice Guerard Robinson, age 66, beloved wife of the late Robert Lee Robinson, SR., passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Prisma Health Richland.

Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Marva Guerard.  Marvis was raised in Gary, IN and graduated from Frobel High School.  It was there where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Robert.

Left to cherish her memory are: three sons, Robert Lee Robinson, Jr., George E. Robinson and Winter Obediah Robinson, all of Sumter; one daughter, Sherlonne Denea Robinson of Ohio; one sister, Helen Merlene Guerard Robinson of Gary, IN; special friend, Tisha Wilson; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Eunice Porter and James Porter; and a daughter, Shervonne Renee Robinson.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.  The interment will follow the service in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
