Susan Unrau (nee Thiessen) beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great mother.  Mom went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at the MacGregor Personal Care Home.  Mom had numerous strokes but on January 16, 2022 she had a severe stroke on her right side that paralyzed her completely.  She lost her speech and made it very hard to communicate.  God answered our prayers at took her home on January 25, 2022. 

Mom was born on November 24, 1930 to parents Peter and Katherine Thiessen in RM of Stanley.  She was baptized up on the confession of her faith June 20, 1948 at Mayfield Church.  On June 25,1950 she married Abe Unrau.  Mom and dad were very hospitable and entertained many many people.  Food and coffee were always there.  She was best known for her homemade perogies and saskatoon pie.  Family gatherings were always very important to her and keeping family unity.  

She left to cherish her memory of five children, Betty (Kehler) Buhler, Martha (Irvin) Penner, Bill Unrau, Linda (Corney Dyck), Trudy (Cornie) Guenther and 21 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, 15 great step grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.  

She was predeceased by her husband Abe Unrau, 2 son in laws, 1 grandchild, and 1 great grandchild.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the MacGregor Personal Care Home for the great care Mom received, and to Clarke's Funeral Home for their care and compassion.  Thanks to family and friends for their prayers, food and support.  May God Bless You All for your kindness.
