<p><br /> David Kinder, husband, father, and friend, passed from this life to the next on January 24, 2022. A celebration of his life will be Friday, January 28, 2022 at Walters Funeral Home, with the gathering of friends beginning at 11:00 am; and memorial service starting at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Canon John Bedingfield of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana will officiate the service.<br /> <br /> In true Dave fashion, the family is requesting that tie dye be worn. <br /> <br /> Left on this side of the looking glass to cherish his memories in this life are his wife, Lesley Deshotels; daughter, Lily Deshotels; brothers, Michael Kinder and his wife Kim, and Daniel Kinder and his wife Barbara; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.<br /> <br /> He joins his parents, step father, and a myriad of furry family members who’ve already made it to the other side.<br /> <br /> We remind you of one of his favorite quotes: “We’re all mad here”.<br /> <br /> Mental health is important. If you or someone you know needs help, please be aware and take action.
