Carol Faye Rich Cranford, 74, of Asheboro, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the home of her daughter. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Bethel Church of God, Seagrove, where she was a member, with Rev. Larry May officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Carol was born on January 29, 1947, in Randolph County to the late Junior Odell Rich and Annie Lois Foster Thorp. She was a loving and caring person who loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading her Bible. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Jean King; brothers, Bobby Rich, Odell Rich; and twin brother, Darrell Rich. She is survived by her husband James "Vince" Cranford of the home; daughter, Anna Hall and husband Jason of Asheboro; sons, Tony Hogan, Dennis Hogan and wife Angela of Asheboro; sisters, Linda Robbins and husband Tommy of Asheboro, Bonnie Sheffield and husband Willie of Seagrove, Sue Garner and husband Billy of Asheboro; brother, Ricky D. Rich of Asheboro; grandchildren, Makayla Hall, Jerimiah Hall, Michael Hall, Kaitlyn Hogan, and Matthew Hogan. The family will receive friends at Bethel Church of God from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Sunday January 30, 2022, prior to the service.
