Michael G. Pishko

Michael G. Pishko, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born September 27, 1943 in McKeesport, son of the late Anthony and Mary (Hopey) Pishko. Prior to his retirement, Mike worked as a crew leader for Equitable Gas Co. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, 11th Ward Club, McKeesport, TOSH Legion, Ligonier and enjoyed watching old black and white movies, yard sales, classic cars and listening to country music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Pishko. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Stinson) Pishko; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A Blessing Service will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
