Julia Nell Adams Stout, 90 passed away February 15, 2021. She was born in Lake City, Florida on October 21, 1930 and was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother and a good friend to many. Nell was a member of the Methodist Church Altar Guild, Winter Park Garden Club, Casselberry Breakfast Club and the Wicked Ladies of Astor Street. She was an avid gardener, card player, gourmet cook and devoted Washington Redskins fan. Her children will always remember her delicious chicken "n" dumplings and spaghetti. She loved entertaining both friends and family. Nell's hobbies included collecting clocks, antiques and refurbishing furniture. Despite her many health issues, she kept her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor till the end. She is survived by her son David Stout (Diane) of DeLand: daughter Nancy Davis (Frank) of New Smyrna Beach: grandchildren Shawn Stout and Benjamin Rathman: Cousin Linda Norman and her two children Jill and Stacy Haskell, all of Jacksonville. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 4:00 pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in Orange City, with a gathering of friends from 3:30 - 4:00 pm prior to the service. Allen-Summerhill DeLand is in charge of arrangements.
