Susan Elaine Duckett, age 48, of Keyser, WV went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser.

Susan was born on March 5, 1973, in Concord, NC and was a daughter of Jerry Wayne Duckett Sr. of Pleasant View, TN and Virginia Lee (Turner) “Jenny” Pancake of New Creek, WV. 

In addition to her parents, Susan was survived by her step-father, Bradley S. Pancake; two daughters, Heather R. Duckett and Alexandra “Lexi” Duckett; one son, Stephen Duckett all of Keyser, WV; one brother, Jerry Wayne (Carol) Duckett, Jr. of Oak Grove, KY; her longtime friend, Lee Potts and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Susan was a caregiver and loved helping others. She made friends wherever she went and never met a stranger. She was known for her faith in God and lived it daily.  She attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Keyser, WV. 

Family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Funeral will begin at 1 PM with Pastor Randy Leatherman and Pastor Stephen Noel officiating. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, WV.
