Mary Raffaelita Eslinger
<p>Mary Raffaelita “Leta” Eslinger went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022. She was known to many as Leta but more often as “Hot Rod”. Leta was born on February 19th, 1930 in Alpena, Arkansas to Ivan and Lula Larimer and spent her childhood there along with her older brother Leon Larimer. Leta was blessed with three children, Bill, Jim & Debbie. </p> <p>Leta was always a hard worker. She started her career as a beautician in 1964 and was self-employed for 54 years owning her own salon with many of those years at her salon at her home. She also traveled to many homes to do hair for clients all over the greater Tulsa area. It was not unusual for Leta to have 16-20 clients a day. She also had a successful real estate business for over 20 years being a number one saleswoman for many of those years. </p> <p>Leta was married to Clifford Dale Eslinger for 33 years and built a life together in Tulsa, Ok, where they lived until he passed away in 1994. They enjoyed spending time together with family and friends at the lake, camping and water skiing. Leta was devoted to her faith and raising her children in church. She shared her gifts of music at church from a young age through adulthood both playing the guitar and singing in the church choir. She also enjoyed crafting by making homemade silk albums and baskets for gifts.</p> <p>Leta is survived by her children Bill Grisham; Jim Grisham & wife Pam; Debbie Marshall; Grandchildren Shannon Grisham; Brent Grisham and wife Nicole; Michael Marshall & wife Candace; Mindy Smith and husband Matthew; Michalyn Wulf and husband Kyle; Holly Tolbert and husband Jonathan; Great grandchildren Makenzy Grisham, Bryce Smith, Jake Breaux, Elijah Breaux, Shaeli Smith, Jaxen Marshall, Max Grisham, Macy Grisham, Aynslee Marshall and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Niece Carol Jean Dickinson and husband George. She was preceded in death by parents Ivan & Lula Larimer; husband Clifford Eslinger; Brother Leon & wife Dorris; Daughter in law Gail Grisham and numerous cousins. </p>February 19, 1930 - January 23, 202202/19/193001/23/2022
