Deanna M. McClarnon, 54, of Denmark, IA, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:13 PM at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She was born on May 23, 1967 in Rockford, IL to Milburn “Red” and Lois Baxter Holmes. On March 16, 2002 she married Mitchell McClarnon in Ft. Madison. Deanna spent time doing crafts, especially knitting. She also enjoyed going to auctions, yard sales and collected Pooh bears and dolls. Survivors include her husband, Mitchell McClarnon of Denmark; one daughter, Elizabeth (Blake Pauwels) of Ft. Madison; one brother, David; four sisters, Paulette, Brenda, Andrea and Judy and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carole and Christina and her grandparents. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Don Skinner officiating and the family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.
