It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kirk Desmond Thompson on January 10, 2022.  

Kirk was predeceased by his grandpa Philip Thompson, his aunt Julyda Thompson and his sister Crystal Richard.  

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish fond memories; his son Aiden Beaulieu, his mom Marion Thompson, his brothers Clayton, Darren (Felecity), his sisters Chastity, Cheyenne and Chancie (RJ), his grandma Elizabeth Thompson. his uncles Louis (Christine), Peter, Phil, Jeremiah, his nieces Heavenly, Emberleigh, Precious, Ayesha, Sierra, his nephews Dante, Liam, Ethan and Preston-Lee as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, his father Roger Houle, and special friends Brian Roulette and Grant Blagden Sr.  

Kirk loved going on his daily walks, meeting up with friends at different places.  He enjoyed having coffee at Tim Hortons, morning and evenings were his favorite times there.  Every time he heard of a free meal being offered, Kirk made sure he was there.  Kirk would go to the Meeting Place in Amaranth every Sunday.  A friend of his always gave him a ride there.  He loved being with friends and making new ones.  

Kirk showered his family and friends with happiness, laughter and love.  We will miss him dearly.  

Wake and Prayer Services for Kirk began on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the Ebb and Flow Community Complex, Ebb and Flow First Nation.  Prayers were offered at 7:30 PM.  Family and friends who wished to follow Kirk home were asked to meet at Sneath-Strilchuk's Ste Rose Chapel at 3:30 pm on Friday.  

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Ebb and Flow Community Complex, Ebb and Flow First Nation.  Fr. Jorge Mante will officiate.  Interment followed in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery.  

In keeping with current Covid 19 public health orders, all persons attending the wake and funeral services were required to provide proof of vaccination.
