Mary Magadalene Conkle

Mary Magdalene Conkle, 89, passed away, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Grundy, VA. Mary was born in Isaban, WV, December 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Kenner and Cora Allen Cline. Mary was a member of the Morning Star Regular Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by six brothers, Virgil, Bartley, James, Lainey, Everett and Oakie Cline; six sisters, Virginia Harvey, Rhoda Chapman, Elzora Deboy. Nettie Cline, Nancy Cline and Virgie Hunt; and a son-in-law, Clarence Robinette Jr. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Robinette, Bonnie Lester (fiancé Edward Bailey), and Connie (Ricky) Lester; six grandchildren, Lynne Long, Keith Robinette, Santana Blankenship, Peggy Abbott, Denny Lester and Kee Lester; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 o’clock with Elder Roger Walker, Elder Gene Green and Elder Edward Cline officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at Bull Creek, WV. Grandsons, Keith Robinette, Denny Lester, Kee Lester and Landon Lester will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Thursday morning, January 27, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
