Mary Seletia Oxford (Slack) went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Seletia was born in Tulsa, OK on September 22, 1939 to James Arthur and Mildred Gertrude (Vernon) Slack. She was 82 years young. <br/>Mom married young, with no formal education but became a very smart, respected retail manager for over 35 years including Garnett Plaza Liquor until retiring. <br/>A friend to many but a Beautiful, Intelligent, Talented and Caring Human to others. She loved her family. She was always comforting and advising, always spoke her mind and stood by her beliefs. Lived her life by loving and caring for others. She was and extraordinary woman who will be missed immensely.<br/>She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leroy Slack and Richard Slack; sister, Barbara Troxell-Robins and grandson, Matthew Clark.<br/>She is survived by her children: Danny Silva and wife, Suzy of Lewisville, TX, Joni Hunt and husband, Bobby of Glenpool, Lisa Wallace and husband, Dale of Broken Arrow, and Larry Messmore and wife, Julie of Houston TX; sisters: Earlene Dobrinski of Coweta and May Perry of Fort Myers, FL; her eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. <br/>A Memorial service and celebration of her life will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday January 28, 2022 at Ninde Brookside Chapel.<br/>
