Lynn “Connie” Ann Campbell, age 66 of Dayton, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 22, 2022. She was born in Xenia to Ruby Fields. She attended Stebbins High School. Connie met the love of her life, Richard W. Campbell, in Kindergarten and they married in May of 1974. They shared many happy years together until his passing in 2003.

Connie retired from Mosher Machine and Tool after many years of loyal and dedicated service. Connie loved playing Bingo and dice, but above all she loved her family. Connie was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Richard Campbell; mother, Ruby Fields, father-in-law, James Campbell; aunt, Ann Rau; brother, Lonnie Fields; sister, Angie Martin; and brother-in-law, Bill Campbell.

Connie leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Dewayne (Jennifer) Campbell, Melissa (Jason) Campbell, Alex (Renee) Campbell, and Mechelle (Jack) Campbell; brother, Johnny Fields; sisters-in-law, Janelle Campbell and Mary Sparks; brother-in-law, Mick Campbell; mother-in-law, Ruth Campbell; grandchildren, Ashlynn (Mike), Devin, Darrin, Miranda, Peyton, Kiersten, Aliyah, Alex Jr., and Jayleigh; great-grandchildren, Elsie and Oaklee; grandpets, Honey, Cinnamon, Brody, Basil, Church, and Dutch; and many other loving relatives and dear friends.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Schlientz and Moore Funeral Home at 12:30pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am - 12:30pm.

Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery. Lovingly reunited with Richard on his birthday.
