Ezra Reuben Kanoho, 94, passed away peacefully at his home on January 23, 2022. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on September 16, 1927 and worked as the Island Manager of Hawaiian Telephone Company for over 40 years and was also a Hawaii State Legislature for over 20 years.

He is preceded in passing by his wife, Pauline; his parents, Reuben and Isabella Kanoho; brothers, Ralph (Jean) and Alfred (Harriet) Kanoho.

Ezra is survived by his sons, Reuben Kanoho, Paul (Sherilyn) Kanoho, Solomon (Susan) Kanoho, and Ezra (Lynn) Kanoho; siblings, Gladiola (Reginald) Feliz and Cecilia (Walter) Young; his grandchildren, Paul Kanoho, Chanel Williams, Erin Li’u Kanoho, Isaiah Kai Kanoho, Colbie Kaui Hensley, Justin Kanoho, Erin Maeno, Jordan Oda; and his great-grandchildren, Haweo Kanoho, Makoa Kanoho, Harper Kanoho-Kaohelaulii, Cruz Williams, and Cainan Williams.

The family requests in lieu of cards and flowers that donations be sent to Kauai Hospice or Lihue First Church (P.O. Box 1812, Lihue, HI, 96766) in the memory of Ezra Kanoho. Private Services will be held in the future.
