Obituary

Denise Jayne Clements, age 73, of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 21, 2022.  She was born to David James Stevens and Frances Mae Ridgway Stevens on May 1, 1948, in Albuquerque, NM and raised in Temple City, CA.  She attended Pasadena City College and was a resident of Arcadia, CA where she married Ronald Clements and raised her family.  They moved to Boulder City 18 years ago after retiring.

She was a wonderful caring wife of 53 years, mother, and grandmother.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and being their “Grandma”.    She spent many years boating on Lake Mead and enjoyed traveling in their RV.  She made many lifelong friends along the way, from childhood, while raising her children, and in retirement.  She loved to travel and explore new places and enjoyed “Jeeping” with her husband and their “4-Wheeler” friends.  She was a “Hugger” and never met a person without giving them one.  She was into genealogy and loved to search out cousins and make connections with them.  She enjoyed socializing with friends and getting together with the “Card Ladies” for weekly lunches and card games.  She was a hard-working person always open to new types of work.  At the age of 15 she worked at a grocery store as a clerk which is where she first met her husband.  She worked as a bookkeeper, doctor’s receptionist, executive assistant, legal secretary, and a travel agent.  She also owned her own escrow business for several years.

Denise is survived by her husband Ronald Clements; two sons Keith Allen (Karen) Clements, Craig Lee (Samantha) Clements; three grandchildren Sydney Ann Clements, Jenna Nicole Clements, Caleb Alexander Clements; twin brother David J Stevens JR. (Heidi); stepbrother Randall E Holman (Loraine); and a large extended family of nieces and nephews.

It was her wish to be cremated. No visitation and no services at this time.  Interment will be at a later date at Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier, CA.  Family and friends can share memories at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
