<p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Frances Louise Belcher, 92, Nevada, MO passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones due to a short illness at her home on Monday, January 24, 2022.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Louise was born April 21, 1929, in a red brick home in Fresno, CA. She was the third of five children born to Samuel Henry and Maude Ethel (Pike) Yurk. Louise loved growing up with her large family and helping her momma take care of the family. Throughout her childhood, Louise lived in several places but settled down in Nevada, MO to raise her children. She worked as a seamstress at Nellie Don in Nevada until retiring in 1981.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Louise had many hobbies that she shared with her loved ones.&nbsp; She spent her mornings with a cup at coffee outside watching birds &ndash; including her hummingbirds. Louise spent her summers in the garden. She loved the outdoors, going for walks, fishing, camping even just sitting on the front porch, whatever she could to be closer to nature. In the winters she spent her time inside crafting, playing cards with her grandkids, baking pies, watching Wheel of Fortune, and reading her Bible. Louise also jumped at any chance to go to second hand shops, the farmers market, or berry picking. Above all, God and her family was of the utmost importance to her. She was a member the Lutheran Church in Ft. Scott, KS.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She is survived by one son, Dwight Belcher (Christie) of Ft. Scott, KS; seven grandchildren, Shawn Belcher (Kelly), Shelly Belcher Claypool, David Belcher, Dwight Belcher, Jr. (Stephanie), Dawn Belcher Wolfe (Anthony), Cassie Belcher, and Dustin Belcher (Jordan); 21 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her son, Dwain Belcher; three brothers, Raymound Yurk, Sam Yurk, and Bill Yurk; one sister, Betty Ann Overton; a daughter-in-law, Christie Belcher; and a great granddaughter, Noelle Belcher.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A celebration of life will be held at a later date.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p>

         Frances Louise Belcher, 92, Nevada, MO passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones due to a short illness at her home on Monday, January 24, 2022.

      Louise was born April 21, 1929, in a red brick home in Fresno, CA. She was the third of five children born to Samuel Henry and Maude Ethel (Pike) Yurk.
