Bart Rule Miller Obituary

Bart Rule Miller Jr., age 77, former Spalding County Commissioner of Williamson passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Bart was born in Spalding County July 4, 1944 to the late Bart R. Miller Sr. and Lucy Wallace Miller. He was also the brother of the late Mary Elizabeth Howard. He served in the United States Army and was formerly employed by Southern Fruit Distributors, Spalding County Parks and Recreation, and most recently was an independent farmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1503 and VFW post 5448. Bart gave his all to others and was a dedicated Dad, brother, Papa, Coach, and friend. He would give the shirt off his back to others. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Westerns, listening to music, dancing, and watching his grandson play baseball.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Wicks (Stan), Amy Coe (Lee), grandchildren, Ashley Bryant (Travis), Michael Ellis, Bethany Flournoy, Logan Coe and Jaxson Coe. He also had 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Harriett Brock (David), several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A service will be Thursday, January 27 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
