Obituary

On Thursday, January 20th, 2022, Charles Michael Napoli passed away at the age of 66 after howling at the full wolf moon one last time.

Born in Montgomery County on April 2nd, 1955 to Michael and Rita, he spent nearly fifty years with his wife Diane. They raised two sons, Charlie and Nicholas.

Charles loved being physically active. From his school days running track, to playing in local softball leagues throughout his 20s and 30s, you could find him raising the level of play of those around him. He also enjoyed driving in the old VW Bus to go camping with his family and friends.

When his work in the auto industry came to an end, he helped Diane run their custom picture framing and art gallery business, Frame Image. Also, taking a page from his fathers’ career, he worked as a school bus driver, picking up and dropping off the “precious cargo”. Once the cancer and heart disease slowed him down, he volunteered with prostate cancer support groups. Always reaching for the Light through a long struggle in the dark, Charles had the spirit of a wolf; a guardian of family and tribe. His mission to uphold the well-being of the pack ended successfully, surrounded by family.

In recent times, the Napoli family has been struck with much loss. Charles has lost two sisters, and a brother; Carol D’Antonio, Rita Yankauskas, and Mike Napoli. He is survived by his sisters Maryann McCauley and Carmela Sawyer, as well as his beloved wife and sons.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Thursday, Jan 27th from 10:00-11:30 at the Arlington Cemetery Chapel, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
