Louis Montano Obituary

Louis Montano, 71, a lifelong resident of Eatontown, passed away on January 23, 2022. Louis was born in Red Bank to Rocco and Phyllis (nee: Amorello) Montano on August 25, 1950.
Louis was a communicant at St. Dorothea’s RC Church, as well as an honorary Elk and Knight of Columbus in Eatontown, NJ. In his younger days, Louis was active with the ARC of Monmouth in Tinton Falls, and he loved nothing more than his Monday night dances, Saturday morning bowling, and cheering on the Monmouth Falcons Pop Warner football and Eatontown Little League teams. He viewed the world with a childlike innocence, and only ever saw the good in people.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Rocco and Phyllis Montano and his sister Carol Montano.
Surviving Louis are his three brothers; Frank Montano of Manalapan, NJ, Dan Montano of Long Branch, NJ, Vincent Montano of Lebanon, PA and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 27 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Dorothea’s RC Church, Eatontown, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis’s memory to the ARC of Monmouth: https://arcofmonmouth.org/ways-to-help/ways-to-donate/donate.html, or to Enable: https://enablenj.org/ways-to-give/
