<p>Barbara &quot;Bobbie&quot; Harrington Durham, - &quot;Maw&quot;, 80 of Kannapolis went &quot;to sleep&quot; at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 21, 2022 and woke up in Glory.</p> <p>Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 25 at Whitley&#39;s Funeral Chapel with Jon Hicks, Rev. Mitch Thomas and Ronnie James officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Her family will receive friends at Whitley&#39;s Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022.</p> <p>Bobbie was born November 9, 1941 in Union Co., a daughter of the late Robert &quot;Rabbit&quot; and Mary Cooper Harrington. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Franklin Durham, two brothers, Robert &quot;Boobie&quot; Harrington and Tommy Harrington, and her great-grandson Elijah Banks Wright. Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Kannapolis and graduate of Landis High School - Class of 1960. She was a charter member of the Well Community Church in Landis and Homestead Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Bobbie was a hardworking woman, a loving mother and &quot;Maw&quot; to her family and their friends. She cared for everyone she met. &quot;Maw&quot; will be dearly missed.</p> <p>Those left to cherish Bobbie&#39;s memories include her daughters; Wendy Brown, Tonya Hicks (Jon) and her precious son, Kelly Durham (Misty) all of Kannapolis, her grandchildren; Ragan Stancil (Josh) of China Grove, Terrin Wright (Jacob) of Charleston, SC, Haylie Tanner (Kalin) of China Grove, Dillon Durham of Kannapolis, Ali Lefebvre (Jon) of Ottawa IL, Brandon Williams of Kannapolis, Chandler Brown (Brianna) of China Grove and Logan Durham of Kannapolis, her great-grandchildren; Jonah, Jude, Emerson, Gideon, Ruah, Banks, Sadie and was looking forward to her 8th great-grandchild being born in March. Bobbie was also survived by her brother Charles Harrington (Gail) and her sisters, Dee Bost (Dan) and Nancy Clark all of Kannapolis, and her honorary granddaughter Meredith Smith.</p> <p>The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gwen Frazier who helped care for Maw and allowed us to keep her at home.</p>

Barbara "Bobbie" Harrington Durham, - "Maw", 80 of Kannapolis went "to sleep" at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 21, 2022 and woke up in Glory.

Bobbie was born November 9, 1941 in Union Co., a daughter of the late Robert "Rabbit" and Mary Cooper Harrington.
