Fontan, Jr., Manuel, 64, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Beloved husband of Maria Elisa Fontan (nee Farina). Loving son of the late Manuel & Dolores (nee Morlan) Fontan. Cherished father of Marisa & her husband Francisco Mayan, Monica & her husband Santiago Vincente, Manuel & his wife Paricia Fontan and Miguel & his wife Amanda Fontan. Dear brother of the late Benedicta Fernandez & brother-in-law of Antonio, Maria & her husband Joseph Lopez and Pedro & his wife Katherine Fontan. Adored grandfather of Elisa & Sebastian Mayan and Lucas Fontan. Caring son-in-law of Maria Elisa Farina and brother-in-law of Vicente & his wife Leonor Farina, Aurelia & her late husband Emilio Farina and Maria & her husband Francisco Chaves. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Mr. Fontan was born in Spain and came to the US in 1965. He was a Longshoreman and a member of ILA Local 1235 for over 35 years. Funeral Mass Monday 1PM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
