<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Calvin Rennels, 75, died January 22, 2022, with his family by his side in Windsor, Colorado.&nbsp;</p> <p>At his request, his remains will be conveyed to the United States Navy for burial at sea.&nbsp; No memorial service is scheduled at this time.</p> <p>Calvin was born October 21, 1946, in Jacksboro, TX to Lee and Verba Rennels. He was the second out of four children with an older brother and two sisters.&nbsp;</p> <p>He had a career in the United States Navy for 36 years and attained the rank of Force Master Chief.&nbsp; Calvin was a wartime veteran, having served in both&nbsp;the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.</p> <p>After he retired from the military, Calvin and his wife settled in Texas where he worked for many years in Information Technology and as a professor of Computer Science.&nbsp;</p> <p>His interests included fishing, computers, technology, building things with his hands, and having adventures.</p> <p>Calvin is survived by his wife, Ai-kuei; his daughters and their spouses, Matthew and Marsha Scott and Sam and Vicki Stanton; grandsons, Sammy and Nathan Stanton; as well as his brother, Thomas Rennels, and both sisters&mdash;Joy Tidball and Vicki Jackson. &nbsp;</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Lee Rennels.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Calvin Rennels, 75, died January 22, 2022, with his family by his side in Windsor, Colorado. 

At his request, his remains will be conveyed to the United States Navy for burial at sea.  No memorial service is scheduled at this time.

Calvin was born October 21, 1946, in Jacksboro, TX to Lee and Verba Rennels. He was the second out of four children with an older brother and two sisters. 

He had a career in the United States Navy for 36 years and attained the rank of Force Master Chief.  Calvin was a wartime veteran, having served in both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.

After he retired from the military, Calvin and his wife settled in Texas where he worked for many years in Information Technology and as a professor of Computer Science. 

His interests included fishing, computers, technology, building things with his hands, and having adventures.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Ai-kuei; his daughters and their spouses, Matthew and Marsha Scott and Sam and Vicki Stanton; grandsons, Sammy and Nathan Stanton; as well as his brother, Thomas Rennels, and both sisters—Joy Tidball and Vicki Jackson.  

He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Lee Rennels.
