Calvin Lee Rennels
<p> </p> <p>Calvin Rennels, 75, died January 22, 2022, with his family by his side in Windsor, Colorado. </p> <p>At his request, his remains will be conveyed to the United States Navy for burial at sea. No memorial service is scheduled at this time.</p> <p>Calvin was born October 21, 1946, in Jacksboro, TX to Lee and Verba Rennels. He was the second out of four children with an older brother and two sisters. </p> <p>He had a career in the United States Navy for 36 years and attained the rank of Force Master Chief. Calvin was a wartime veteran, having served in both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.</p> <p>After he retired from the military, Calvin and his wife settled in Texas where he worked for many years in Information Technology and as a professor of Computer Science. </p> <p>His interests included fishing, computers, technology, building things with his hands, and having adventures.</p> <p>Calvin is survived by his wife, Ai-kuei; his daughters and their spouses, Matthew and Marsha Scott and Sam and Vicki Stanton; grandsons, Sammy and Nathan Stanton; as well as his brother, Thomas Rennels, and both sisters—Joy Tidball and Vicki Jackson. </p> <p>He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Lee Rennels.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
