Mark Douglas Watson

Mark Douglas Watson, age 60, of Knoxville went to be with his Lord on Saturday morning, January 22, 2022 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Mark attended Northstar Church. He loved his country and was a veteran of the United States Army. A framer by trade, he became a member of the United Brother of Carpenters Local 50 in Oak Ridge. Mark’s other passions included playing chess, camping, fishing and the outdoors. He loved his family and is preceded in death by his father, Richard Edward Watson, He is survived by his mother, Maggie Huff Watson; brothers, Eddie Watson, Mike (Jin) Watson, and Ricky Watson all of Knoxville; nephews and nieces, Paul (Kendra) Watson, Patty Watson, Michael (Caitlin) Watson, Lauren Watson; great nephews, Thomas Watson, Jacob and Samuel Daggy; several aunts and uncles. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 27 at the East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery, with full military honors conferred by the U S Army and the East Tennessee Veteran’s Honor Guard.
