Jon Dale Crutchfield
<p>Jon Dale Crutchfield, 65, of Panama City, FL, formerly of Senecaville, passed away Saturday (January 1, 2022) with his loving wife, Diane, by his side.</p> <p>H was born May 23, 1956 in Cambridge, son of the late John E. and Clarice D. (Lashley) Crutchfield.</p> <p>He was a 1974 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He attended Wright State University and was enrolled in the ROTC program. Jon later graduated from the National Meat Cutting School in Toledo, and became a Meat Inspector for the State of Ohio, retiring in 2007 after a successful career. He was an honorary member of the Buffalo VFW and was very well known and loved in the community. He was affectionately known as “Crutchy” by his many friends. The memory of his easy smile, warm infectious one of a kind laugh, will remain with us forever.</p> <p>In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Dr. John Compere.</p> <p>Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Diane; step-children, Amelia Orr, Dustin (Krista) Bailey, Keliah (Corey) Kiessel, Alison White, and Amanda White; grandchildren, Caleb Orr, Bailey Orr, Hayden Bailey, Kinsley Bailey and Matthew White; siblings, Joyce Darlene Compere of Chandler, AZ, Darrell Bruce (Mary) Crutchfield of New Concord, and Diane Aleshire; nieces and nephews, Shelly (Art), Corey (Mallory), Kristen (Kevin), Eddie, Matthew, Eric, Jason and Jeremy; great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Lindsay, Grace, Jackson, Camden, Coralee, Maryn, Justice, Derek, Joey, Anthony, Damien and Haley.</p> <p>A dinner will be held on Saturday (January 29th) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Byesville VFW.</p>Obituary
