<p>Jon Dale Crutchfield, 65, of Panama City, FL, formerly of Senecaville, passed away Saturday (January 1, 2022) with his loving wife, Diane, by his side.</p> <p>H was born May 23, 1956 in Cambridge, son of the late John E. and Clarice D. (Lashley) Crutchfield.</p> <p>He was a 1974 graduate of Meadowbrook High School.&nbsp; He attended Wright State University and was enrolled in the ROTC program.&nbsp; Jon later graduated from the National Meat Cutting School in Toledo, and became a Meat Inspector for the State of Ohio, retiring in 2007 after a successful career.&nbsp; He was an honorary member of the Buffalo VFW and was very well known and loved in the community.&nbsp; He was affectionately known as &ldquo;Crutchy&rdquo; by his many friends.&nbsp; The memory of his easy smile, warm infectious one of a kind laugh, will remain with us forever.</p> <p>In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Dr. John Compere.</p> <p>Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Diane; step-children, Amelia Orr, Dustin (Krista) Bailey, Keliah (Corey) Kiessel, Alison White, and Amanda White; grandchildren, Caleb Orr, Bailey Orr, Hayden Bailey, Kinsley Bailey and Matthew White; siblings, Joyce Darlene Compere of Chandler, AZ, Darrell Bruce (Mary) Crutchfield of New Concord, and Diane Aleshire; nieces and nephews, Shelly (Art), Corey (Mallory), Kristen (Kevin), Eddie, Matthew, Eric, Jason and Jeremy; great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Lindsay, Grace, Jackson, Camden, Coralee, Maryn, Justice, Derek, Joey, Anthony, Damien and Haley.</p> <p>A dinner will be held on Saturday (January 29th) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Byesville VFW.</p>
