Robert C. Hendricks, Lake Road, Atlantic, passed away at 8:34 am on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the AristaCare at Park Avenue, Meadville. He was 73. He was born in New York City on July 29, 1944 a son of the late Dr. Robert T. and Dorothy (Kelly) Hendricks. He was a graduate of Meadville High School and had served with the U.S. Army. He was a 50 year member of Iron Worker's Local 348, Erie from which he had retired. He was an active member of Jamestown Masonic Lodge # 424 where he had served as past master in 1993, 1996, 97 and 98. He was a member of the Crawford County Shriner's Robert's free time was spent constructing ponds which he had constructed three on his property where he kept them well stocked and enjoyed watching his grandchildren fish. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Doris (Burrows) Craig-Hendricks at home, a daughter, Cherie Hollis and her husband Colby of Sigel; 4 step daughters, Dawn Pettit of Virginia, Wendy Goeden of South Dakota and Cheryl Chatley of Utica; 2 stepsons, Earl Craig and his wife Debbie of Arkansas and Daniel Craig and his wife Dana of Stoneboro; a brother John Hendricks and his wife Maureen of Florida. 2 grandchildren, Alexis Stritzinger and her fiance Brandon of Pittsburgh and Natasha Stritzinger of Austintown, OH; 1 great grandson, Caiden Poremski; 9 step grandchildren, Garrett Pettit, Chance Janda, Zach Craig, Colby Craig, Arthur Emig, Kayla Chatley, Jermey Chatley, Keira Craig and Carter Craig. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Susan Beekman and a step son in law, Herb Chatley. Visitation will be concluded with a Masonic service by Jamestown Lodge # 424 at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
