On January 17, 2022, Helen Serrano Agas left this world suddenly in the comfort of her home. After a long battle with diabetes and heart disease, her body is finally at rest and her soul at peace. Helen was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, by Rustica and Feliciano, may their souls Rest In Peace. Of her four siblings, Feliciano (Phil) Jr., Francis, and Aurora, she was the youngest. She was always the extrovert of the bunch with a sparkling smile and a comforting energy. She spent over 20 years as a card dealer at Artichoke Joe’s Casino. Those who knew her knew that she was a sweetheart and a force to be reckoned with at the same time. Helen made decades-old connections with people and always had the stories to prove it. Helen was survived by her four children: Alexandra, Nathaniel, Zachary, and Shaylee. There was hardly a conversation you could have with her where she wasn’t gloating about her kids. She worked tirelessly through night shifts; providing for her kids while still balancing a loving home. Helen was fierce and caring in nature. She was an inspirational figure to more than just her children but to her nieces and nephews, family friends, and close friends made along the way. Many would agree that those who knew her loved her. She enjoyed good food, pretty sights, and good company. Helen was beautiful, funny, loving, and strong. Her presence in this world will be greatly missed.
