Frank J. Mulroony, Jr., 89, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Born in Paterson, NJ, he lived in Wayne, NJ, before moving to Lake Ridge in Toms River, NJ 25 years ago.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University before establishing a career as a Computers Systems Engineer for IBM in Parsippany, NJ.
Throughout the years, Frank enjoyed many interests and hobbies, including skiing, tennis, fishing and boating.  Later he enjoyed the beach and Sunday afternoons at the Norwood Inn, enjoying dinner and listening to Irish music.
Frank is preceded in death by his beloved wife Marie (Murphy) Mulroony, his parents Frank J. Sr., and Marguerite (McHugh) Mulroony, as well as his sister Eileen Ostermann (FL).
Frank will be forever missed by his daughters; Anne Marie and her husband Jerry McGrorry of Avon by the Sea, NJ, and Elizabeth and her husband Thomas Trier of Saddle Brook, NJ, his sister Claire Carroll (CA), and his cherished grandson Thomas Frank Trier.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 9 to 11am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12pm at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood, NJ. Interment will follow to St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
