<p><strong>Guadalupe “Lupe” Koon left this world to be with the Angels on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 86.</strong></p> <p><strong>She was born on October 13, 1935 in Calipatria, California. She married Joseph Koon on May 17, 1957 and they both retired from the VA Hospital in Marion.</strong></p> <p><strong>She was a creative, determined, and independent person who loved the outdoors. She loved walks, reading, yardwork and watching Andy Griffith. Lupe was a Mother, Grandma, GG, Sister, Aunt and Friend who will be missed.</strong></p> <p><strong>She is survived by two sons, Andy (Terri) Koon and Alfred (Lori) Koon; two daughters, Donna Koon and Lisa (Scott) Blackburn; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a close nephew, Ron (Judy) McKinley.</strong></p> <p><strong>Visitation for friends and family will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W.
