<p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">PETER BABIRAD, 95, of SADDLE BROOK died Wednesday at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey.</span></span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Babirad resided in Saddle Brook for over 40 years. He retired as a Manager with Atlantic Aviation of Teterboro, New Jersey.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mr. Babirad was a Veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and was the oldest living member of Ukrainian American Veterans Post #17.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">He was a parishioner of Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Cathedral of Clifton.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mr. Babirad was predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Babirad and his two sisters, Jeannette Anderson and Helen Mignano.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">He is survived by his nieces and nephew, Kathleen M. Biss, Pat Quinton, Karen Frenz and Lawrence Mignano.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">In accordance with his wished, Mr. Babirad will be cremated and is ashes will be scattered at sea by the US Navy.</span></span></p>July 11, 1926 - January 19, 202207/11/192601/19/2022
