<p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">PETER BABIRAD, 95, of SADDLE BROOK died Wednesday at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey.</span></span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Babirad&nbsp;resided in Saddle Brook for over 40 years. He retired as a Manager with Atlantic Aviation of Teterboro, New Jersey.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mr. Babirad was a Veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and was the oldest living member of Ukrainian American Veterans Post #17.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">He was a parishioner of Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Cathedral of Clifton.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mr. Babirad was predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Babirad and his two sisters, Jeannette Anderson and Helen Mignano.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">He is survived by his nieces and nephew, Kathleen M. Biss, Pat Quinton, Karen Frenz and Lawrence Mignano.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">In accordance with his wished, Mr. Babirad will be cremated and is ashes will be scattered at sea by the US Navy.</span></span></p>

PETER BABIRAD, 95, of SADDLE BROOK died Wednesday at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey.

Born in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Babirad resided in Saddle Brook for over 40 years. He retired as a Manager with Atlantic Aviation of Teterboro, New Jersey.

Mr. Babirad was a Veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and was the oldest living member of Ukrainian American Veterans Post #17.
