SOLOMON, Ann, 93, of Spring Hill, Florida, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home.

She was born July 9, 1928 in Somerville, Massachusetts and came to the area in December 2007 from Lexington, Massachusetts. She was an Administrative Assistant at Emerson College in Boston. She attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and was a member of the Lighthouse for the Blind. She enjoyed sewing, loved line dancing, and dancing which was how she met her husband, James, who preceded her in death in 1980. Ann was always the life of the party and was "Flower Gram" at her granddaughter, Angela's wedding in September 2021. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Robert & Donna Solomon of Amherst, New Hampshire; daughters and sons-in-law: Annette & Joe Avery of Billerica, Massachusetts and Diane & Rick Wohlfiel of Spring Hill, Florida; grandchildren and their spouses: Derek & Samara Wohlfiel, Angela & Brandon Duffy, Brendon Avery, Douglas Avery and Lauren Avery; great-grandchildren: Liora and James Wohlfiel. 

A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel; times to be announced.   

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind, Inc.
