Milwaukee. Passed to Eternal Life Monday, January 17, 2022, age 80 years. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on December 10, 1941to parents Floyd and Elinor Heimel. Jack joined the U.S. Navy in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1966. Beloved husband of Merry (nee Berger) for 52 years. Dear father of Jean (William) Leisses, Christy Kay and Susan Heimel. Loving grandfather of Frank Stumpf. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Monday, January 24, 2022 at Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home – West Allis 4PM to 7PM with a Vigil Service at 6:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church (6762 W. Rogers St.) at 10AM. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. Retired employee of AT&T. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Augustine Catholic Church appreciated.
