It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald James Hampton announce his passing on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Terry (Debbie), David (Jackie) and Peter (Debra); daughter-in-law Juanita; grandchildren: Christopher, Melissa, Nicole, Frank, Chantel, Cullan, Terri-Lynn, Rebecca and Jordan; great-grandchildren: Avery, Bridgett, Kaylie, Joshua, Kylea, Ryan, Aiden, Abby, Hunter, Linnea, Zaria, Mya and Ava; brothers: Lloyd (Roma) Hampton and Carl (Anita) Hampton; brother-in-law brother Jack (Edith) Abbott; sister-in-law Joyce Chaulk; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Myrtle “Marina”, son Ross, grandson Jeremy, parents George and Elfreda Hampton parents-in-law Joseph and Gladys Abbott, sister-in-law Debbie Abbott, brother-in-law Tom Chaulk, Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 7-9 p.m. with a maximum of 25 people in the building at once. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. from First United Church, Park Street to a maximum of 50 people with Rev. van Vliet officiating. Due to Covid-19 Government Regulations Vaccine Passports, ID and face masks required for both visitation & funeral service. The funeral service will be livestreamed through Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Facebook Page. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to First United Church Memorial Fund.
