<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>**POSTPONEMENT DUE TO WEATHER....UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION BELOW**</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>NORTHWOOD- Mrs. Diane I. (Maille) Kouroubacalis, 68, of Northwood, passed away on January 16, 2022 at the Beth-Israel Hospital in Boston with her husband, daughter, granddaughter and sister by her side after a long illness.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Born in Lowell, MA, Diane was the daughter of the late Paul &ldquo;Mike&rdquo; Maille and Pauline (Fisette) (Maille) Prescott and her late husband Leo.&nbsp; She was raised and educated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School.&nbsp; She had been a resident of New Hampshire for the past 38 years.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Prior to her retirement, Diane was employed as a missile test operator for Raytheon.&nbsp; She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, camping with her family, motorcycle riding with her husband and especially loved being with her grandchildren.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>She is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, James C. Kouroubacalis; her daughter, Lisa Sorrentino and son-in-law, Donald Sorrentino of Alton, NH; her son, Sean Kouroubacalis of Haverhill, MA; her sister: Orea Nicolls of Litchfield, NH; her brother, Paul Maille of Barrington, NH; two other siblings; and her grandchildren: Izabella, Nikko and Benito.&nbsp; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 26th from 12 to 2 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral &amp; Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom, NH.&nbsp; A brief prayer service will conclude the visitation at 2 P.M.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane&rsquo;s memory may be sent to the Concord Hospital Stroke Unit, 250 Pleasant St. Concord, NH 03301.&nbsp; To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>&quot;This tribute is to my loving wife, Diane (Maille) Kouroubacalis, the most loving, caring, compassionate and giving person who was always there to help people in need.&nbsp; I was fortunate to have 40 years with this beautiful woman; not always perfect but mostly great.&nbsp; Diane was tough and strong when situations arose.&nbsp; Diane was my friend, my soulmate, my lover and my wife.&nbsp; I will miss her and she will always be in my heart, never to be forgotten.&nbsp; I love you so much.....DBT.&quot;.... - ME</strong></span></p>

NORTHWOOD- Mrs. Diane I. (Maille) Kouroubacalis, 68, of Northwood, passed away on January 16, 2022 at the Beth-Israel Hospital in Boston with her husband, daughter, granddaughter and sister by her side after a long illness.

Born in Lowell, MA, Diane was the daughter of the late Paul “Mike” Maille and Pauline (Fisette) (Maille) Prescott and her late husband Leo.  She was raised and educated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School.  She had been a resident of New Hampshire for the past 38 years.
