Pansy Jo Ann Brizendine, age 85, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her home. She was born July 15, 1936 in De Queen, Arkansas. Pansy enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and the great outdoors. Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dixie Crump Miller; one sister; Mary Minor; two daughters, Lydia Bowers and Selesia Lopez; two grandsons, Kevin Castillo and Daniel Dunn; great grandmother, Jaded Pruitt; stepdad, Charlie Davis. She is survived by her husband, Billy Brizendine of De Queen; one sister, Shirley Williams of De Queen; five daughters, Cynthia Gutierrez, Debra Matin, Donna Dunn, Shierlene Daniels and Jackie Godsby all of De Queen; and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Brizendine will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the First Pentecostal Church of God in De Queen with James D. Copp officiating. Burial will follow in the Avon Cemetery in De Queen under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
