<p><strong>Edna Mae Gallo passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 17, 2022.&nbsp; She was born to Melville C. Taylor, Sr. and Mary Taylor.</strong></p> <p><strong>Edna Mae was a proud graduate of Harrington High School.&nbsp; She later worked for Delmarva Power and Light (now Delmarva Power) for several years. Edna Mae then assisted her husband in his business, Gallo Electric and Construction, for many years.</strong></p> <p><strong>Edna Mae was a member of Harrington Senior Center, Harrington Historical Society, Andrewville Historical Society, Bayhealth Medical Center Auxiliary and the Harrington High School Alumni Association. She was a long-time member of Prospect United Methodist Church near Vernon, DE, and a former Leader of Harrington Sunshine 4-H Club.</strong></p> <p><strong>Edna Mae enjoyed antiques, especially family keepsakes as well as spending time at Lewes Beach and in Florida.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>In addition to her parents, Edna Mae is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Anthony Gallo, Sr., as well as her brother William C. Taylor, Sr.</strong></p> <p><strong>She is survived by a daughter Teresa (Terry) Stokes (husband Joe) and her son Anthony (Gene) Gallo (wife Carol); her brother M. Charles Taylor, Jr (wife Kathy); six grandchildren- Jason, Jonathan, Julie, Lisa, JR, and Mary; nine great grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Isabella, Madelyn, Carly, Ava, Konnor, Gage and Grace.</strong></p> <p><strong>In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to either Harrington Lions Club, or Prospect United Methodist Church.</strong></p> <p><strong>A Funeral Service will be held privately and limited to immediate family. Delaware guidelines are in effect for social distancing and masks.</strong></p> <p><strong>Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas E.
