Mabel E. Pulley

Mabel E. Pulley, 94, Fishers, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, in Fishers. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on August 23, 1927, to Eddie and Cecil Oswalt-Berry. On August 11, 1946, she married the love of her life, Paul R. Pulley. She attended Grace Community Church. Mabel worked as a beautician for 28 years in Grant County. She owned and operated, Klip and Kurls, a hair salon out of her home. When she wasn't at the beauty shop she would be working at Queen City in downtown Marion. She was an excellent candy maker. She loved crafts and crocheting. More than anything, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Peterson; son, Michael (Shirley) Pulley; grandchildren, Susan (Brad) Morgan, Catharine (Marnell) White, Jennifer Jones, Jason (Erika) Pulley, and Maggie Pulley; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; step-mother, Mae (Byers) Oswalt; husband; siblings, Edward Oswalt, Mary Louise Dilley, Jesse D. Oswalt, and Robert L. Oswalt; great-grandson, AJ Jones; and son-in-law, Bill Peterson. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Mabel's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Hamilton Trace and IU Health Saxony in Fishers for their care, kindness, and patience.
