Funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Kenneth Ross McLain, Sr. of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 600 Highway 139, Monroe, LA. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born December 14, 1948, and passed from this life January 17, 2022, at the age of 78.
He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He was also a mason with the Eros Masonic Lodge #295.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Alberta McLain, brothers, Eugene, Charles, and Howard, and sister, Patsy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Kim Miller (Mark), Jeannie Smith (Scott), Kylie Adams (Jason), and Kenneth McLain, Jr.; also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers include Keith Smith, Ricky Smith, Junior McLain, Kevin McLain, Cole Smith, John Paylor, Andy Fisher, and Hunter Adams.

We would like to express our gratitude to Ashley Paylor and her amazing staff at StoneyBrooks Memory Care Home for their time, dedication, and love to our father during these times.
