AYERS, Marion John, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the age of 76.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Robbins officiating. Burial will be at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Mr. Ayers is preceded in death by his son Jeremy Ayers; siblings Tressie Pennington, Joquetta Sanders. He is survived by his wife Judy Ayers; children John David (Jennifer) Ayers, Christa (Chris) Speigner, Penelope Ayers Pike; stepdaughter Beth (Michael) Wade; siblings J. D. (Sarah) Ayers, Oowalah (Jimmy) Henderson, Lessie Ruffin; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
