Caleb M. Moser, 21, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly at 3:03 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born February 18, 2000 in Troy to Genora “Ginnie” Moser of Sidney and she survives.

Other survivors include three brothers, Caisen Swallow, Colin Swallow Carson Swallow all of Greenfield; his maternal grandmother, Velma Moser of Sidney; his uncle, Woody Whalen of Dayton; and many other cousins and close family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bernard “Bernie” Moser

Caleb was a 2017 graduate of Sidney High School and graduated a year early. He worked under a Michelin Star chef at Tavolo Modern Italian. He was deeply devoted to music and was a talented guitar and banjo player; a skill he acquired from his grandfather, who he loved deeply. He was active on many video game boards and enjoyed spending time online with his friends. Additionally, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and forming a club with his friends. He was a gifted cook and cooking quickly became his passion. Through his work in the kitchen, he became a more adventurous cook and eater. He will be deeply missed.

A service to honor his life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith A. Gebhart officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at funeral home.
