Marcello Pedronan Sr., 94, of Hanamaulu passed away January 12, 2022 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on December 31, 1927 and retired from Lihue Sugar Plantation as a Truck Driver. A Veteran of the United States Army and a wounded combat Korean War Veteran.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio & Luisa Pedronan; brothers, Elpidio & Nicomedes Pedronan.

Marcello is survived by his wife, Adele Pedronan; son, Marcello (Lani) Pedronan Jr.; daughter, Nancy (Michael) Wong; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Nieves (Thomas) Soriano, Helen Pedronan, Susan Andrade; brothers, Flor (Rose) Pedronan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe at 1:00 p.m.

Masks and social distancing will be observed.
