Catherine Anne Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON, Catherine Anne - age 67, of Fenton, died January 16, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 21, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Burial will be held at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Catherine was born June 2, 1954 in Detroit, the daughter of Alfred and Shirley Ione (Schlee) Halliday, Jr. and was a graduate of Hartland Schools. She married William Johnson on August 16, 1975. Catherine was a member of the Red Hat Society and belonged to a Barbie doll collectors club. She never missed a birthday or anniversary of a friend or relative and loved to celebrate with a party for everything. Catherine and her husband also enjoyed dining out. Surviving are: husband, William of Fenton; two daughters, Heather (Brian) Slater of Fenton and Tara (Bobby) Maksymowski of Fenton; step-children, Kelly (Steve) Higgins of Flushing and David Johnson of Flushing; grandchildren, Ashton, Sebastian, Evelyn, Quinn, Molly, Sarah, Adrian, and Zac; great-grandson, Isaiah; siblings, Al (Jane) Halliday of Howell, Carol (Bob) Smith of Georgia, Janie (Mike) Small of Indiana, Mark Halliday of Fowlerville; sister-in-law, Lisa Halliday. She was preceded in death by: her parents; step-son, Robbie Johnson; grandson, Xavier; and brother, Rick Halliday; and nephew, Ricky Halliday.
